Good work to be honest but not much changing anyway. I am here from start of LFS being made public so I understand the concept here, its just getting started boring.
There are some areas where things should be accelerated rather then happening nothing at least how i see that.

Maybe Scawen is working on something really inovative, new what ever good but the most thing which I am not happy its the way they comunicated. It simply got worst. Not everybody have time going thru all the hread to find out that Scawen or someone else from the devs team posted something new or at least some feedback. This should be on the main LFS page. When someone new to LFS enter the main page will thing if there is really happening something and its not getting to be a bit of abononed project by devs.

The one thing is which devs never were able to do right in my eyes how to advertise this project in good way.

Thats my last post in this thread because people are getting bashed for their opinion, for being "black or white". As always and this is really sad.

No way I am going to contribute on this more.

Some of them were with LFS for ages before they actually bought it and not everybody has to register on the forum as soon as he started playing it. Dont let the the demo racer speaking here....thats the really best idea. The feedback unless its total bullshit makes this game going forward.

even I am not programmer its indeed interesting reading. Maybe LFS is multithreading but my point with this thread was rather that LFS cant get performance profit if the CPU has same architecture and have more then 1 core. So the question is if it could would it be usefull if you look at it from all the possible perspective. I see only benefit and reading your discussion with Becky there seem no any drawback even when someone would be still using single core CPU. Or I am wrong?

Well I am probably pedantic. Its not hard not to be when you manage a team of people and give them instructions or orders or do a perfomance/mistake analysis of their work. When I make mistake and they will follow it might cost a lot of money. Its just the life and my job which teached me.

Back to topic.

Try a grid of 20 AI or full grid at online racing and you could see how having support for multiple CPU cores could help.

Becky I respect you as person here even I dont know you much but when someone saying his opinion about something is not well why he has to be a moaner. I dont think this is right to say.
I really hate to see that when someone is saying something bad about LFS here or that he would like to see something different, more comunication or what so ever what is no rude to developers has to be called often a moaner. Its used so often. The sometimes goods points or discussion is not welcomed. The point why is something I am missing.

Well even a such a sort of feedback from Scawen which is posted above is more then welcomed...at least from me. The only problem is that I could not see it anywhere and thats the problem.

Blame me anyone who want for I will say now. Its just my personal opinion.

I am in LFS since the start practically when even the current webiste or forum did not exist at all and I think Scawen is starting to missing some points( to be honest I feel really bad that I have to say something like that towards Scawen) or just dont see it, dont want to see it. Dunno what is really is.

The first thing which is the worse and worse is the communication with the comunity and the second is the slowdown in the development...at least how I see that. I talked sometime ago with the old guys, some of them very well know and people are getting really frustrated that its not happening too much for quite a long time(not talking only about the Scirocco delay). Thats why these well know people also disapeard from LFS. Its a shame and I still love LFS and keep crossed my fingers to this game as well but something is simply not going right.

The lack of communication is really making me sad.

The other thing is how in past all the other possible competitors where so far away from LFS in a lot of areas.They are now a lot closer mayve somwhere simply better. LFS is not even cathing for example in graphics development and the traing is getting more and more far away. Its not that I would blame how LFS looks. Its nice indeed but it could be simply much better. I remmber Scawen saying that when most of the cards will be DX9 then he will start using these possibilities but we are getting from DX10/DX10.1 almost close to start of DX11. Not so important to be honest but as I said thing started moving more quicker and LFS is sometimes starting to getting farway then closer :-(. Just look at iRacing, Forza motorsport. Their physic engines are getting very interesting.

Also what I dont see right with LFS that its just following the old days. The gaming world has changed a lot like extra content you can pay for and other things. LFS in my eyes is just simply starting to loose. As I said I still keep my finger crossed and even planning to buy G25 wheel just because of this game I have passion for but getting frustrated a lot from a lot of things which does not go well.

No, LCD works different way then LCD thats why its does not flicker.
Its switching the pixels and CRT re-draw the lines. Re-drawing lines mean flickering.

Weel if it could looks that good in LFS as in NFS shift then it would be marevelous. It will be not unfortunately.

You dont need any command line parametr.
Just launch TASK manager and then click under processes with right click on the process/exe file you want to set the afinity. You can choose the core then.

For me best works following combo:

Antivirus - NOD32
(the only annoying thing is that if you want to use it free you need to re-download and install it again every 30 days. Not much a issue for me though)

Firewall - Zone Alaram free version

Spyware/adware - Spybot Search&Destroy

This combo never let me down.Not any virus or anything like that which would ever made me problems.

Someone was smart in reply at start that its about being smart where you click. Not unfortunately always.Just an example.

I was searching with my girlfriend for a dog. We have been looking about the info only on official country club dog pages and one of the pages had virus. What a suprise. Logically nobody could expect something like this but it can happpen nowdays.

You would need to send both lense and camera.
When your combo is so much off the focus it can be adjusted for sure.

As I said not everybody is willling to print so if it looks good on my monitor and then resized on web then I am happy with my result. It doesnt have to mean quickly that its bad one because it might looking when printed not so good. Everybody has his own preferences...
